The Rumor

Alex walked down the hall, to leave.

Asa stepped in his way, just to be a prick.

No one else was around.

Alex welcomed the confrontation. He stood very close to Asa.

Neither man moved.

Alex spoke.

“I heard about your car Asa… pity. She fucked up your bike too… what a shame.”

Asa smiled but not because he was happy.

“That bitch is fucked, the next time I see her.”

“Let it go.”

“Fucked.”

“She threw a tantrum, you can afford it, Asa. You probably deserved it, so leave her alone.”

Alex stepped on by to open the door.

Asa stopped him.

“Oh hey Alex, the next time you see Luna, do me a favor. Tell her she’s fucked. Thanks.”

Alex defended her again.

Asa didn’t like it.

He decided to tell Alex what Luna did at the party. He didn’t leave anything out.

Alex got upset but didn’t let on. He shut the door and left without a word.

He went to find Luna.

He got in her face.

“I just talked to Asa. He told me to tell you, you’re fucked, Luna. Those were his exact words.”

She sighed.

“He’s over reacting.”

“I don’t think he is, sweetheart. I think there’s something you’re not telling me.”

“What did he say to you? Whatever it was… I didn’t do it, okay.”

Alex paused. He turned around and left.

He didn’t believe Luna. He believed Asa this time.

It made more sense.

He was pissed.

The Kitchen

Alex was in his kitchen. Michael was at a meeting. Luna was avoiding Asa and needed a place to hide. She knocked on Alex’s door.

He answered in jeans and a button-up shirt that wasn’t tucked in or buttoned up. Luna followed him into the kitchen. She noticed a clean wooden spoon in his back pocket. It held up the bottom of his shirt and showed off his ass.

The aroma of sugar filled her nose on the way to the kitchen. It dissolved in butter on the stove. Alex took his place in front of it and stirred, but not with the spoon in his pocket.

Luna sat at the island and watched him from behind. She asked him a thousand questions. He answered them.

After a while, he decided it was his turn.

“Do you like to cook, sweetheart?”

“I‘m not allowed to,” she said.

“Why not?”

“I’m not supposed to play with knives.”

Alex knew why but he didn’t want to talk about her past.

“You wouldn’t be playing with them, you would be using them.”

Luna snickered.

“Oh, I’m definitely not supposed to use them. That’s for sure!”

Alex dropped the subject.

The room fell silent. Luna stared at the spoon in his pocket.

He watched her from corner of his eye.

“So, are you glad to have Michael back?”

“Yes?” she answered with a question mark.

Alex looked over.

Luna sighed.

“He’s not very happy about the whole… garage incident,” she explained.

“I heard about that, sweetheart. What were you thinking?”

Luna gave him a dirty look.

“Asa’s a jerk. I couldn’t help it,” she said.

“Have you seen him since?”

“No.”

“Are you worried about it?”

“Yes.”

“Is that why you’re here?”

She nodded.

“What do you think he’ll do?”

Luna had a good idea but she didn’t want to share that information.

“I don’t know,” she said.

Alex turned off the stove and poured the confection into a pan. Luna jumped up for a taste.

She stuck out her finger to catch the drizzle. He smacked her hand with the wooden spoon from his back pocket.

“You know better than that,” he said.

Alex stuck the spoon back in his pocket and continued to pour. Luna tried her luck again. He smacked her harder this time and pointed the spoon at her before putting it back.

“Knock it off!” he said.

Alex set the sheet of candy in the fridge. Luna complained. She wanted something sweet to eat. He put out a plate of cookies.

She took one and removed the icing with her finger, then shoved both the cookie and the icing in her mouth. Alex took the opportunity to talk.

“I’m concerned about your situation with Asa. I want to give you a key to my office, in case you need a place to hide.”

He reached in his pocket and set a key on the counter. She went to take it, he smacked her hand with the spoon.

Luna wanted to complain but couldn’t with her mouth full. Alex pulled out a second key.

“This one is for here.”

Luna about choked. She liked the idea of having access to his place again. He set the key beside the other one.

“Listen up sweetheart. Don’t abuse the privilege or I‘ll have the locks changed, again. Don’t steal or destroy anything of mine either, again. Understood?”

Luna nodded yes! He motioned for her to take the keys but now she didn’t dare. She stuck her hands under her arms.

Alex smiled. He picked up the keys and offered them again. She smiled and took them.

Luna slipped the keys down the front of her dress. He gave her a disappointed look.

“Why don’t you carry a purse?”

“...because it wouldn't fit down there.”

Alex looked at her odd. Luna giggled.

A knock on the door interrupted them. Luna thought for sure it was Asa. She grabbed a cookie and smeared icing across her cheek. She took another one and wiped it down her nose. She wanted to make him jealous. Alex caught on and scolded her.

“Bad idea, sweetheart.”

Luna went to answer the door but it wasn’t Asa. It was Michael and he didn’t like the food on her face. She could tell and started to wipe it off.

“What the fuck is going on here. I told you to stay home.”

“I’m sorry,” she said.

Michael looked at Alex. He apologized for the inconvenience, then he took her home.

Alex shut the door and went back to the kitchen. He set the wooden spoon on the counter then buttoned up his shirt. He smiled, undid his pants and tucked it in.

The Nightmare

It was four in the morning, the rain fell hard. The hunt was over. It had come to this.

Luna was trapped. Asa closed in from behind. She begged for mercy. He didn't listen. He was angry.

He had horrible plans for her. The rain dripped from his chin. He tortured her with a smile then took her by the throat. She couldn't stop him.

He tightened his grip.

He told her to forfeit.

She woke up instead.

With eyes wide open, Luna took a deep breath. She felt her neck. It was bare except for a chain Asa bought her.

She took it off and set it aside, then Luna went back to sleep.

The Garage

Luna didn’t make it home on time the next day. Asa surprised her in the hall and redirected her to the garage. She put her hands in the air and cooperated.

He led her across the concrete, towards his car. It was a black Lamborghini. He shoved her in the passenger side, then gently shut the door. Asa loved his car. Luna knew that.

He slid into the drivers seat and lit a cigarette but didn’t roll the window down. He wasn’t pleased with the stunt she pulled last night.

“What the fuck were you thinking,” he started.

Luna smirked.

“You owe me an answer bitch,” he growled.

“I don't owe you anything, fucker.”

“Excuse me?”

Luna fanned the smoke from her face and repeated herself, slower this time.

“I don't owe you a mother fucking thing.”

Asa pulled another drag off his smoke. He didn’t like her attitude and started the car. Luna didn’t want to go for a drive. She turned it off and jumped out with his keys.

Asa flew from his car and pitched his cigarette. He chased her down then wrestled for his keys. Once he got them, he pushed her against the limo.

“Don’t you ever…” he yelled, but stopped. He lowered his voice but was still upset, “Don’t you ever touch my fucking keys bitch, ever again. Is that understood?”

“Whatever,” she mumbled.

Asa opened the limo and pushed her inside. He forced her to take a seat then sat beside her. He straightened his slacks and stared at her a moment, then spoke.

“Lets try this again Luna. What the fuck were you thinking last night?”

“I was having fun, pissing you off,” she admitted.

“Pissing me off is not a pasttime bitch, it’s a problem and what you did last night was stupid.”

“No it wasn't.”

“Luna! You flashed me your ass! Everyone was in the room. If Michael would have noticed, he would have gone berserk! And nice panties by the way. I recognize them. I bought them for you. That was a nice touch and obviously took some planning.”

Luna smiled. Asa told her it was a bad idea, then carried on.

“You weren’t wearing the matching bra, were you? Noooo. Everyone could tell you weren’t wearing one at all Luna but it was nice of Michael to keep your tits warm for you… and who’s idea was it for you to wear that dress in the first place? Seriously.”

“Michael picked out my dress,” Luna chimed in.

“Shut up,” he said, “..and since when can’t you feed yourself babe, that was pathetic.”

Luna laughed. Asa did too for a second, then twisted her hair up tight around his fist.

“You wont be laughing after I take you up on that ‘offer’ of yours bitch, I promise.”

Luna didn’t know what to say. She liked his attention probably not the kind he had in mind. Asa could be nasty. She never got the chance to respond.

Michael opened the door and peered inside.

“What the fuck is going on in here.”

Asa let go of her hair and started to lie.

“I caught Luna with my car keys. She was headed out for a joyride but I stopped her. Your welcome.”

Michael looked at Luna. She always looked guilty. He took her hand and helped her from the limo. Asa got out behind her.

Michael thanked him then started to walk away with Luna. He planned to scold her in private and let go of her hand. She walked beside him until they got close to Asa’s car, then she veered off course.

Asa’s Ducati motorcycle was parked next to his car. She walked over and kicked up the stand then wheeled it closer to his car. Asa swore at her from across the garage. Michael asked her not to do it, but Luna pushed his bike into his car and took off running.

All she heard was Michael promise to catch up and Asa promise to get even.

Luna promised to put up one hell of a fight.

Michael Returns 2

The following night, Michael invited the boys over for drinks. It wasn’t wise to turn him down so they all showed up, Asa, Jordon and Alex. Luna was there of course, front and center.

They gathered in the great room, a fire burned in the hearth. It was cold outside. Jordon stood by the door. He never seemed capable of leaving guard duty. Asa sat on the couch in a way to accommodate the alleged size of his balls. Alex sat in a chair and stared at Luna. She sat on the floor in front of the fire.

Michael walked into the room. Luna nearly spilled his drink when she jumped up to greet him. He’d only been gone a few minutes. He sat in his chair. She sat in his lap. Alex turned his attention to the fire and Asa got annoyed.

Luna wore in a little red dress that nowhere near reached her knees. One of the straps kept slinking off her shoulder. She didn’t mind and left it. Michael kept replacing it but stopped after a while.

He was pretty proud of his performance last night. Luna was impressed as well. They flirted and fondled each other throughout the evening. Alex ignored it. Asa lost his mind. He didn’t react but planned to have a word with her about it, the next day.

Michael Returns 1

Luna couldn’t sleep one night. She wanted to sneak out for a walk but a voice from behind stopped her. He said, “Don’t go.”

Luna froze. It was Michael. He had picked the perfect night to come back, unannounced.

She let go of the door. He took her hand.

He led her back to his place and took her straight to bed. He didn’t waste any time and tangled up with her.

Michael had come back to check on his property.

He played with her hair and kissed her forehead, but something didn’t seem right. Luna did't seem like her usual eager self.

“Have you been faithful,” he asked.

“Of course,” she answered.

It was true, but only because she had been turned down.

Michael sat up in bed and told Luna to do the same. She did. He told her to face him and she did that too. He asked for her eyes but that proved to be more difficult.

She took a deep breath then looked him in the eyes.

Michael was handsome, she adored that about him. His soft green eyes pined back at her. His typically clean face was covered in stubble. It was unbelievably sexy.

His lips were full, and nearly impossible to turn down when they beckoned her for a kiss. He beckoned her for a kiss.

She melted. They kissed for a moment then Michael took her hand.

“Luna,” he said, “Do you miss me?”

She nodded yes.

“Good, because I’ve missed you too.” Michael pulled her closer and swept her hair to one side.

“Luna, remember when I used to put chocolate chips in your coffee?”

She smiled. She also loved the way he pronounced chocolate, with three syllables.

"Yes sir."

Michael repositioned himself even closer.

“Luna, remember when I used to pick out your clothes?”

She nodded.

“Remember when I used to shower you and comb your hair?“

She grew uncomfortable.

“Do you miss it Luna?” he asked.

She paused then nodded yes. Michael could be possessive at times. He took note of her hesitation and sighed.

“Remember when I’d take you out to eat and feed you with my fingers?”

Luna giggled. She used to bite him whenever she could.

“You miss it, don't you?”

She nodded.

“Me too.”

Michael took a hold of Luna by the ankles and pulled her deeper into bed. He perched on top of her and brushed his thumb across her cheek.

“Remember when I used to take my belt to your ass, when you pissed me off?”

Luna became embarrassed and covered her mouth. Michael raised his brow. He removed her hand and waited for an answer.

She quickly said yes, then put her hand back up. He smiled.

“You miss it Luna, don't you,” he asked.

She left her hand over her mouth and nodded yes.

Michael took her hand away one last time and kissed her.

“I’m coming back for you Luna,” he said and kissed her again.

She whimpered.

He took over.

Luna snuck out...

Luna snuck out of her room one night. She planned the escape well and headed for Asa’s place. She hoped he’d let her in. He did.

Asa was dressed for bed, shirtless and barefoot. His silk pants hung low on his waist. He smiled at Luna as she walked by. She sat on the couch.

Asa had a drink in his hand and a cigarette in the other. He sat beside her and smiled. He knew why she was there.

“Looking to get fucked tonight, are we?” he observed.

Luna nodded her head yes. Asa turned to set down his drink and that’s when Luna saw them, the hickeys.

She reached out to touch his neck. Asa quickly realized why. He snickered.

“You didn’t really think you were the only one, did you babe?”

Luna shoved him.

“Fuck you,” she said.

Luna got up from the couch and went to leave. Asa went after her. He tripped her and she fell to the floor. He forced her on her back then hovered over her. He still had a cigarette in his hand. Luna apologized.

Asa glared at her then walked away. He sat back down on the couch then spoke.

“Luna, if you cant handle the situation then leave. I’ll let you… but this time don’t leave like a coward, leave like a woman.”

Asa never used the term ‘woman’ around her before. Luna helped herself up then stood before him. She prepared to submit, but the sight of his neck upset her again.

She slapped him hard across the face.

Luna left and slammed the door.

Asa felt his cheek then sat back and smiled. He liked Luna this way and couldn’t wait to see her again.

Luna & the Lighthouse 2

Luna decided to build a fire inside the lighthouse. She wanted to illuminate the empty lantern room high above. She thought it would give her friend closure.

It took several days, but she got enough wood for a fire. Luna stole wooden chairs from the auditorium and stacked them high then filled the negative spaces with paper and twigs. The mountain of wood was taller than she was.

A storm was looming the night she decided to light it. The air was calm but the sky was not.

Luna wanted fuel for the fire and headed for a maintenance shed. The rain cut loose and drenched her on the way back.

She doused the kindling with fuel then set the container on the ground. She pulled out a book of matches and lit a piece of paper.

It flickered and the fire slowly grew.

The rain outside pounded loud and the wind picked up. Luna tried to pull her rain soaked dress off her body and watched intently.

The fuel began to accelerate the fire. She backed up.

The container of fuel she left on the ground caught fire. Luna gasped.

A gust of wind blew open the door. It entered the tower and swirled like a cyclone. It collected the fire and twisted through the room.

Luna was trapped. She couldn’t see the door. She pressed with her back against the wall and panicked. She screamed.

A voice yelled from outside. He told her to get out. She had no choice. She covered her face and ran through the flames.

Once outside Jordon threw her to the ground and smothered her. He got up slow and checked to see if she was alright.

The rain drowned them both, the lighthouse became fully engulfed behind them.

Jordon hauled her away.

Luna was lucky and escaped with minor burns. Her hair was singed and had to be cut. It upset her but nothing like the news she got later.

The fire caused too much damage. It destroyed the structure.

Michael had it demolished. He promised to build her a new one.

And Luna never saw her little friend again.

Luna & the Lighthouse 1

It was late one night, Luna was on the balcony. She sat on the ground, barefoot in her dress and held the balusters like prison bars.

Alex came outside and spoke to her. She didn’t answer. He got upset then noticed the music in her ears. He nudged her. She ignored him.

He pulled up a chair beside her. She turned away. He took her music. She turned back and glared up at him.

“What’s wrong,” he asked.

“Nothing,” she answered. Luna held out her hand. She wanted her music back. Alex shook his head ’no’. She gave up and went back to staring.

Alex set her headphones down then went inside. He returned with another chair then took her music away one last time.

“Hop up here,” he said. Luna grumbled then crawled up into the chair. She tucked her toes beneath her dress.

“What’s wrong?” he asked again.

Luna hesitated.

“I’m lonely,” she said.

Alex paused.

“Do you want to talk to Michael?”

“No!” she said immediately, “I do not!”

Luna held a scowl on her face while Alex searched for something else to say.

“What do you want then.”

“I want to go see Asa,” she replied.

“FUCK. NO!” he replied.

Alex was not impressed. He kicked her chair.

“Why would you even ask me that?”

She got up to leave. Alex yarded her back in the chair then turned it to face him.

“Why are you still hung up on him? That guy’s a prick to you!”

Luna slumped in her chair then decided to test him.

“I’m going to go to the lighthouse then,” she said.

He vetoed it. Alex saw right through her. She sensed it and tried to cover.

“The lighthouse is right there. Just watch me.”

Alex wouldn’t give in.

“So tell me Luna, what’s so special about that little lighthouse?”

“Its empty,” she said, “but it’s still pretty.”

“Its infested and should be torn down,” he refuted.

His comment upset her. She kicked his chair.

“That was mean,” she said.

“Luna, that place is nasty.”

Alex pitied her.

“It’s a sad place and you don‘t belong there.”

Luna sighed.

“It’s not a sad place but someone did die in there.”

Alex looked at her.

“Someone died there?”

“Yes sir, a little girl died in there.”

Luna looked back at him, then hung her head. Alex pet her.

“What happened?” he asked.

“One night… the light in the top wouldn’t burn… and she burned instead.”

Alex was disturbed.

“That’s awful, sweetheart.”

“I know, and she’s still there, sir. She won’t leave.”

“Why not, dear?”

Luna looked at him and said, “Because she’s still waiting for the light to come on.”

Luna gazed out at the darkened structure… and just then… Luna came up with a horrible idea.

Luna and the Camera

Michael made it clear, Asa was not to conduct any of his personal business from the mansion so when Luna caught his guards lugging a dead man down the hall, she took pictures.

With the lens cap back in place, she snickered until Asa cleared his throat behind her. Luna spun around with eyes wide open and punched him in the arm.

“Hey!” she complained, “That’s not fair! Where did you come from?” He didn’t answer her. He stole her camera, instead.

“What the hell are you doing here?” he asked.

“I came to show you my new camera,” she said pointing towards it.

“This one?” Asa replied, “Yes, I’ve seen it and I don’t like it!”

Luna tried to take it back. He stopped her then whistled for a guard. When Jordon appeared, Asa tossed him the camera.

“Destroy it,” he ordered. Jordon looked at Luna and rolled his eyes. Luna turned to Asa.

“Michael’s going to be pissed off you took my camera!” she said pushing him in the chest.

He disagreed and shoved her back, “No he won‘t because you’re going to tell him you lost it.”

Luna tried to blackmail him.

“I saw that dead guy in the hall, you know!”

Asa put is finger over her lips and said, “No you didn’t babe.”

He left his finger over her mouth for a moment, then finally left.

Luna vs. Asa 2

The next day, Alex had to leave the library for yet another emergency. Luna got suspicious. Alex did too. The water pipes in his place had failed and were creating a terrible mess.

He told Luna to study without him and left.

Asa showed up this time. It took Luna by surprise. His serpentine appearance must have caused a stir on his way through the library. She quickly left with him, concerned he would cause a scene.

No words were spoken until they were back at his place.

Asa shut the door then pushed Luna into it. He stood so close to her she could barely move. Eye-contact wasn't feasible. She turned her head to the side and listened.

"I didn't appreciate the way you left here yesterday, bitch. So, you want to be combative do you."

"No sir, I'm sorry," she whispered.

"I told you to back off, bitch, but that did not give you the right to ignore me when I talk to you."

"No sir, I'm sorry sir."

"It doesn't give you the right to disobey me either. Are we clear?"

"Yes sir, sorry."

Asa leaned in and whispered in her ear.

"More importantly Luna, it does not give you the right to look for attention from someone else. Is that clear?"

"Yes sir."

"If I catch you even thinking about getting fucked by another man, I'll kill him, especially Alex. Is that clear?"

Luna nodded.

"I didn't hear you," he said.

"Yes sir, I'm sorry ...sir."

"Good. Now go back to the library and keep your legs and your mouth shut!

Asa opened the door. Luna tried to leave but he grabbed her by the arm for one last comment.

"Don't forget what I said babe ...I'll kill him. I promise."

Luna vs. Asa 1

Luna made it the entire week without pissing off Alex.

No thanks to Asa. He wanted to see her one afternoon but she was in the library with Alex. Asa didn’t want to see Alex, however because he still wanted to kill him.

So, Asa paid a limo driver to back into Alex’s car.

Alex loved his car and the news didn’t go over well. He left Luna to check on the damage. One of Asa’s guards appeared and brought her back to his place.

Luna was excited to see him and jumped on his sofa. He was cold in return, and still sore from his stab wound. Asa sat on the coffee table in front of her and lit a cigarette. He offered her one but she declined.

“How’ve you been, babe?” he asked.

“Okay,” she said, “…except Alex took all my stuff.”

“I don’t want to talk about Alex, female. I asked about you.” Asa was perturbed.

“I’m fine,” she corrected herself, “What about you, sir? Are you okay? Does it still hurt?”

Asa took a drag then exhaled.

“Yes of course it still hurts Luna, you fucking stabbed me.”

“Sorry,” she offered.

“Do you want to see it?”

“No!”

“It was your fucking idea and I think you should see it.” Asa put his cigarette down and started to undo his shirt.

Luna stood to walk away but he grabbed her tight by the wrist.

“Sit back down,” he growled.

She plopped back down but he kept a hold of her wrist. He squeezed it harder until she complained, then he finally let go.

Asa finished undoing his shirt, then held it open.

“Look at it.” he demanded, but Luna looked down and rubbed her wrist.

Asa used a fistful of hair to reposition her face. She gave up and looked. The scar wasn’t gross like she feared. Much of the detail was lost in his tattoos.

Then Luna realized, one of his tattoos had taken a direct hit …to the face.

The demented tattoo of a woman she hated so much, was no longer discernable. The skin had pulled and fused in a way it caused the entire image to look awful. Luna wanted to smile but refrained.

“Oh, so you’re proud of it now,” Asa said nodding.

“No sir,” she cowered.

“Yes you are. You never liked that bitch.”

“I never told you that.”

“You never had to.”

Asa picked up his cigarette then started to button his shirt.

Luna wanted him to forgive her. She reached over to touch his knee.

“Get your fucking hand off of me,” he ordered.

Luna backed off but wanted to know why.

“You didn’t mean what you said to Michael about us? Did you?”

Asa looked at her.

“You‘re damn right I did. I‘m not very happy with you, Luna.”

“I’m sorry,” she pled.

“Sorry, doesn’t cut it! You tried to kill me!”

“No, I just didn’t want you to leave.”

Asa hesitated in disbelief.

“That doesn’t even make sense, Luna!”

It made sense to her.

“If I decide to fuck you again, I’ll let you know,” he said, “until then, you need to grow up.”

Luna looked at Asa. He glared back at her. She ran from the room. Asa yelled for her to come back but wouldn‘t chase her.

Luna made it back to the library before Alex noticed her missing.

Michael vs. Asa

Michael was ready to leave town but felt he should have a word with Asa, first. He made Luna listen in.

Asa stood tall in the middle of the room. Michael sat at his desk. He tapped his pencil a few times, then spoke.

"Asa ...when I hired you ...it wasn't so you could fuck that bitch over there. You knew that."

"Agreed," he offered.

"That's mine you fucking prick."

"It won't happen again."

I'm serious Asa, hands off!"

"You have my word, brother."

Michael glared. He knew Asa better than that. His word meant nothing.

Regardless, he wanted out of town so he shook his hand and the meeting was over.

Luna thought about it later.

She didn't agree with Michael.

She didn't agree with Asa either.

But it didn't matter. Nobody asked her.

Luna Chapter 3 Addendum

Addendum to Luna Chapter 3 conclude section 2

Asa made-out with Luna on the floor and told her to relax. He wanted a change of scenery. Once she did, he got up then helped her to her feet. She teetered a bit.

“Careful,” he said.

Asa didn’t need to slip her anything to get what he wanted but he had. He grabbed his drink then led her to his bedroom. She’d been there a few times before. He kept it hellishly warm.

Luna sat at on his bed and Asa stood in front of her. His smile was criminal. He slowly unbuttoned his shirt and one-by-one, released his wicked zoo of tattoos. His chest was covered with tortured souls, each creature was deformed in some way.

Luna thought they were beautiful, though. She loved them, all of them except for one.

Asa hung his shirt on the bed post then turned back to Luna. He moved her hair out of the way then started to unbutton her dress.

The tattoo she hated was staring back at her now, the image of a hideous woman on her hands and knees. Her tongue hung as low as her tits and her eyes were crossed. They glowed in the shadow of her blue hood.

Luna looked away but didn’t want to offend Asa. She focused on his face instead. His grin had widened and he was close to bearing teeth. He told Luna to finish undressing and watched while finishing his drink.

He pointed for Luna to get into bed and she tumbled under the covers, very excited. She considered his attention a privilege and couldn’t wait.

It was unfortunate though, since only Asa remembered the rest.

Luna vs. Alex 3

Alex didn’t bother Luna the rest of the day but that night, he told her to get her ass out onto the patio. A nervous candle sat on the table along with all the contents of her bag. Each item was laid out like criminal evidence. Much of it was.

He used his foot to push out a chair for her to sit on. She took it then glanced over the table: two bottles of wine, a pack of cigarettes, a container of weed, stray bullets, a porno mag and lingerie. Alex leaned back in his chair.

“What the hell are you doing with all this shit in your school bag?” She looked up, a little apologetic.

“The wine…,” he said, “I’m not shocked you have it, but where did you get it from?”

“Asa,” she mumbled.

“Wonderful,” he said, “Did he give it to you or did you steal it.” Luna pretended to be deaf.

“It doesn’t matter,” he decided then went on.

“And the cigarettes? Were those a gift from Asa?” She didn’t answer. He crumpled up the pack then waited.

“No. I stole them,” she fessed up.

Alex picked up the film container full of weed next and gave it a shake.

“This explains your shitty school work as of late.” Luna kept her eye on the container while he spoke.

“Did you steal this from Asa too?” he asked. She didn't hear him though, she was too busy trying to think of a way to get it back.

“Answer me!” he shouted. Alex dropped his fist to the table and everything jumped including Luna. With the last of his composure, he asked her again.

“Did you steal this from Asa or did he give it to you?”

“I stole it.”

“From Asa?”

She nodded to confirm. He shook his head.

“That’s great Luna …just great.”

Alex picked up one of the bullets he found at the bottom of her bag. He held it between his fingers then after a moment, grew very concerned.

“Oh my god Luna, Don’t tell me you have a gun, …do you?” He cut her off before she could answer.

“Tell me the truth, now because this is serious.” This time he waited.

“No,” she said, “I don’t have a gun,”

“Promise me you don’t have a gun,” he repeated.

“I promise!” she said and crossed her heart, “I don’t have a gun. I’ve never even shot one.”

“Then why is there ammo in your bag?” he asked.

“Because they’re shiny and cool looking,” Luna said. He didn’t question the bullets anymore. She really was that easy to entertain.

Alex looked down then picked up the porn magazine. He spoke and thumbed through the pages.

“What’s this doing in your school bag?”

“It’s educational,” she said, “I could do a book report on it for you, if you’d like.” Luna cracked a smile.

“No you won’t,” he said glaring.

Alex set the magazine down.

It nudged a bullet and sent it rolling across the table. When it hit the floor, he reached down to pick it up. Luna grabbed the weed.

“Why do you have lingerie in your school bag?” he asked and put the ammunition back.

“It’s none of your business,” she replied.

“Oh, but it is Luna,” he said grinning, “It is my business and I get paid a lot of money to make it my business so get used to it.”

Just then, Luna sneezed. She held her hands over her face. He could tell she wanted permission to leave. He gave her his handkerchief instead. She wiped her nose and fingers off. He wrapped up the lecture.

“Luna, I can tell when you’re up to no good. I’m not stupid and you’re not pulling anything over on me.”

Alex held out his hand. Luna figured she was busted and pulled the weed from her pocket She gave it to him then lowered her head.

He looked in his hand then back at her, “I wanted my handkerchief back.”

Luna was embarrassed. She gave him back the handkerchief then banged her head on the table a few times. She remained face down until he asked for her attention.

“Tell you what, sweetheart, we’ll start right now with a clean slate and if you can manage one week without pissing me off, I’ll give you your shit back. None of this is included.”

“Why? Why can’t I have my underwear back?” she asked him.

“Take your god damn underwear,” he replied so she did.

“Why do you get to swear but I can’t.” she asked.

“Because you are a lady, and I am not,” he explained, “We‘re done here so why don’t you go check out your room. It’s been redecorated.”

Luna got worried and headed down the hall. She spotted an elderly staff member leaving her room with a box and hollered but they shuffled away. When Luna got to her room, she found it bare, empty except for her bed and a few clothes. Luna turned to protest. Alex stood in the doorway.

“One week,” he said, “Do not piss me off, or all your shit becomes mine. Good-night,” he said.

Alex flipped the light off, then left.

Luna vs. Alex 2

The next morning, Luna hid in her room so Alex went to check on her. He knocked on the door and told her to answer.

“Fully dressed,” he added, “I am not in the mood for your stupid games.”

Luna complied and opened the door.

“Sleep well?” he asked. Luna shrugged.

“I hope so,” he replied, “you've got a lot to do.”

“Fuck 'em,” she said.

“Excuse me?”

“I said fuck 'em,” she repeated, “Fuck my stupid chores.”

Luna went back into the room and sat at her vanity.

"Watch your language!” he said.

“Fuck you,” she answered.

“You sound like an idiot,” he explained.

“You’re a fucking idiot.”

“Cut it out!”

“Fuck off!” she laughed, “You don't control me.”

Alex got quiet. He was fed up.

He took the lipstick from her hand then pulled the chair out, with her still in it. She tried to run but he manhandled her into the closet. He wedged the chair against the door and lock her in.

“What the fuck!” she yelled, “You can‘t do this to me!” Alex kept calm while Luna threw a lengthy tantrum.
He was impressed by her stamina but refrained from comment. Eventually, his silence worried her.

“You can’t leave me in here!” she shouted.

“I promise,” he said, “as long as you are in the closet I won’t leave the room.” She was a little relieved.

“I’m sorry for swearing at you,” she sung out, “I won’t do it again, promise.” Alex laughed.

“Swear at me if you want,” he said, “but it has consequences.” Luna waited to hear what he meant but again he went silent.

“Sir?"

Alex was looking for an empty bin and found one, her laundry basket. He set it on the bed then started to fill it with her favorite things.

“I’m still here,” he finally let her know.

“What are you doing?” she asked.

He didn't answer. Instead, he took her make-up, then her music. Luna listened and caught on.

“That’s not fair,“ she said.

“I hope you’re not looking for sympathy” he replied. Alex eyed her school bag on the floor. He picked it up. It produced the sound of bottles clinking together. He pulled out her stash of wine then dumped the rest of the bag out onto her bed.

Luna cringed. There was a lot in there he wasn’t going to like. Alex noticed.

He re-opened the closet door but Luna didn’t want to come out anymore. She reached for the knob and pulled the door back shut. Alex smiled.

He took her things and left.

This time with the upper hand.

Luna vs. Alex 1

Luna wasn't happy to see Alex. It was their first meeting since the night of the party. She hadn't forgiven him for telling Michael her secret. Alex stood in the doorway, wet from rain. She stormed out of the room.

Alex hung his coat then followed after. He didn't reach her in time and she locked him out of her room. He tested the knob then kicked the door.

"Luna, let me in!" he hollered.

Alex didn't expect her to comply but she freed the lock. Her room was a mess. She jumped on the bed then laid on her belly. Her dress barely covered her backside. It made him uncomfortable.

"Let's go talk in the other room," he said. She flippped him off then turned over to lay on her back.

"Nice," he commented, "Very lady-like. I'll be in the other room." Alex left her alone but she couldn't stay away. She returned to the front room and he was sitting on the sofa.

"That was quick," he noted and asked her to sit.

Luna stood. She rocked on her feet then asked him a question.

"Why did you kiss me?" ...The night of the party?"

Alex sighed.

"It was a mistake," he replied.

That was the last answer she wanted to hear. She paused to take it in then left. Alex grumbled and walked back down the hall. He stood outside her room and talked through the door.

"Luna, I'm sorry. Okay? I saw Asa spying on us through the trees. I couldn't help it. I wanted to piss him off  but I didn't think it through. I'm sorry but it was a mistake."

She whipped the door open and yelled, "That whole night was your fault! You should've listened to me!" She tried to slam the door but his foot got in the way.

Luna went back inside and picked up a high heel. She cocked it behind her head then took aim.

"Stop right there!" he ordered.

Luna relaxed for a moment then hurled the shoe. It hit him hard so he chased her. She made it to the opposite side of the bed.

"Go away!"she said.

"No. Calm down and let's talk," he replied.

"No. Get out of my room. I'm going to bed." Luna started to unzip the back of her dress.

"Knock it off!" he said. Alex didn't believe she would really disrobe.

Luna pulled her arms from the sleeves then let the dress fall to the floor.

"Cut it out!" he said pitching her a blanket. She avoided it then unhooked her bra. Alex turned away but still caught an eyeful.

"What is wrong with you," he scolded, "I just want to talk."

"Get out!" she yelled.

Luna was determined to make him leave. She ripped off her underwear then got close enough to throw them. Much to her delight they landed on his shoulder. They sat there until he realized it then swiped them off. He looked down at the floor then back at her.

Luna stood naked with her hands on her hips. Alex was lost for words.

He didn't want to let her win the argument but she had.

He shook his head, gave up then left.

Luna Introduced

Luna was an 18 year old trouble maker, living in a mansion with Michael. He was a lot older than her. She brought out the worst in him, and did so for entertainment. When her charm expired, he took the opportunity to travel for business and came home on the weekend.

Alex was hired to keep an eye on her the rest of the time, which he did. He was a chivalrous man, a rugged blonde with an accent. It dismantled Luna. She loved to flirt with him.

Asa was hired to provide security for the mansion. He was an evil man with a god complex. His head was shaved and body covered in tattoos, most were sacrelige. A strange relationship spawned between Asa and Luna. An affair.

Alex and Asa didn't get along. One played nice, the other did not. Michael refused to get involved and told them to work it out. They never did.Luna couldn't keep them seperate. She couldn't keep a secret either.

Welcome, welcome to the madness.

Luna

I've never blogged before. This will be my first time. This is weird. Anyway, I created it so I could share Luna with more people. She's the subject of my scribbles. A troubled girl in a troubled world. In the coming days, I'll introduce her, then post random tantrums. They'll be much like my tweets but longer. Thank-you Prudence for recommending I do this. Instigator. Thank-you also, to those of you who have been with Luna from the start. You're priceless. Let the games begin!
